NiNi Baby: Toy Bungee Review {Giveaway Closed}

My oldest son is two years old.  He has not quite hit his “terrible” two’s yet, but I’m sure it’s coming.  I’m eagerly waiting dreading its arrival… It seems like I have so much advice to give to friends whose kids are going through those terrible stages, but I’m just really hoping that it never hits my children (because they’re angels! Ha..ha!)

Well, one of the things that many parents go through is the ‘throwing’ game. Most moms know it… They take a toy/cup/object from wherever they’re sitting, and it ‘Drops.’ “Uh-Oh!!” and then you have to pick it up.  That turns into a game, and then you’re at the zoo, and your childs favorite stuffed animal toy that he just HAD to have with him, drops into a pile of someone else’s spilled ice-cream cone.  Life-is-over.
Some companies started coming up with ingenious ideas of making a strap to hold these things… pacifier straps, and other misc. straps to attach items to your strollers and chairs and clothes. The big problem with these items, is that so many kids can see right through them, and un-attach those items from the straps, with a simple tug of the Velcro.  
 
NiNi-Baby has come up with a perfect solution to these problems!  They have created the Toy Bungee which can attach to almost anything by a loop and button attachment that cannot be undone without adult help! 
 
The Toy Bungee features a child resistant button that prevents release by small children; in an adjustable, universal strap to fit toys, bottles, and cups. It is non-toxic, and durable – complying with US and European standards and is BPA and Phthalate free. The Clip feature allows the anchor to remain tethered to your childs favorite objects, while being able to swap out toys and cups. 
 
I was able to sample the Toy Bungee, and although my son has not ever really gotten into the ‘throwing game’, he has certainly dropped things from his stroller and car seats, creating quite the fuss. So I am really looking forward to getting to use this product a lot more! So far, we’ve used the bungee to attach to Andrew’s sippy cups to his car seat, as well as his stroller.  I really like the button on it – it is simple enough for a parent to do, yet complex enough for a child not to be able to undo! I like the fun colors (and so did my son) but my favorite thing is just the fact that it is detachable! 
 

I can imagine having a few of these around on my sons favorite objects – especially cups, and then having a ‘base’ attachment on the stroller, the car seat, and his booster seat – and then being able to have the other half attached to some of our cups – and really not even needing to detach them from the cups! ! Then we just clip from one object to the next as needed!

I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who has children! Actually, I think the car seat drink cup could essentially be used until car seats are no longer needed! That way your kids can always have a water cup attached and you won’t be trying to pass back something to drink to them while driving! (just be sure to wash it regularly!)
