Have your kids outgrown Marble Run and need a new way to build marble tracks and test gravity? Get GraviTrax! Gravitrax uses over 100 pieces to create lots of different tracks either using personal creativity or the included guide. This marble track system is fantastic for creative big kids (and kids at heart!).
GraviTrax uses a system of towers, varying tracks, curves, two platforms, a building floor, and special elements to add extra excitement to the path. Use the tower pieces to build to different heights, put a curve or other track piece on each tower, and then set the bridge tracks between the towers to complete the path. Make anything from a simple path using just a handful of pieces, to a complex system with almost all of them! Follow the guide, use a guide that has hints but not the full instructions, or create your own. There’s even an app to create your own paths!
I love the GraviTrax system! The complexity of putting together the track, and necessity of getting each piece in the right spot, makes for a great learning opportunity while having fun. The tower pieces are easy to put together, and fit snugly enough that they don’t fall apart or tip over. The base cardboard has the perfect holes to hold towers up, with green in particular spots to match the book. And the bridge track pieces set into place easily and securely. Once all the pieces are in place, watch the show.
The special elements are fun, and wrap physics in well. My favorite is a magnetic piece that you set two marbles on the out side so that when the incoming marble hits the opposite side, it releases the second marble to continue down the track. Even the starting piece is so fun, with three slots to start marbles in, simple push down the spring-loaded top to release all three at once.
There is endless fun, creativity, and learning with the GraviTrax. Check it and other great Ravensburger products out online and Facebook! Then if you get too good at the first set, just buy an expansion pack to add more options and excitement!
I received GraviTrax to review for this post. Opinions are 100% my own.
