Radio Flyer All-Terrain Stroll ’N Trike
The Radio Flyer All-Terrain Stroll ’N Trike is the ultimate grow-with-me-trike for kids from 9 months old to 5 years old. It’s awesome. Period. In the past we had the chance to review a very similar grow-with-me-trike, the EZ Fold Stroll ‘N Trike, which we loved then and still love now. The differences with this all-terrain trike: it doesn’t fold, has different storage containers, and bigger all-terrain wheels.
This trike has four options, which makes it perfect for growing with babies, or for a family with kids of multiple ages.
Option 1: Infant Trike – with a wrap-around tray, 3-point harness and footrests, baby can ride while you steer. Micah loved riding in his Stroll ‘N Trike when he was 9 months old, and the cup holder and harness made him secure and provided a place for juice and snacks. There aren’t any footrests, but the seat is tall enough that the feet just hang down safely until the child is big enough to reach the pedals; and that way there are no foot rests to get in the way in normal trike mode.
Option 2: Push Trike – Take the tray off but leave the harness on. Basically, still super safe but easier to kid the kiddo in and out since the tray is off. This option was short-lived for us because the tray was so handy for juice and snacks that we left it on until Micah was big enough to not even need the harness. The adult steering handle is adjustable and solid, it works great!
Option 3: Learn-to-Ride Trike – Take off the height extender and harness so your toddler can either pedal himself, push with his feet, or just ride while you still have the adult handle and total control. This is our favorite way to push Micah, he can motate himself, and sometimes attempt to pedal, plus he can get on and off at will.
Option 4: Classic Trike – once Micah has figured out how to pedal and steer, he can use the trike like a normal trike.
Other perks of the Radio Flyer All-Terrain Stroll ’N Trike
The big storage bin on the back can hold toys, diapers and wipes, or whatever you want. It’s not big enough to hold a lot, but enough. I just wish it had an adult cup holder, but we mostly use water bottles anyways which could go into the storage bin.
The big all-terrain wheels make it a lot easier to drive on rocks and uneven desert ground that a regular trike.
The removable canopy can provide shade from the sun. It’s kind of flimsy and small, but will be helpful when Emersyn is ready to ride and still needs shade.

That looks like such a fun trike! I love that it comes with a canopy, too, to protect the child’s head from the sun!
