I put the need for a baby bouncer in my baby essentials post and now I’m excited to introduce you to the Little Tikes and Diono Sit ‘N Play Bouncer! It has everything you need in a bouncer and then some!
Why a Baby Bouncer?
I think I’ve said it before, but when Micah was an infant, one of the only ways he would be happy out of our arms (including to sleep at night) was in his bouncer. He wouldn’t sleep in his bassinet or crib, he’d last a little while in his carseat, but he would last an hour or two in the bouncer a few times (nursing in between) nightly for almost two months. He also liked playing in it during the day, which gave our arms a break to do other things. He gave Peter a good scare when he slid out (always use the harness!), but it continued to be a great play and nap area for him until he started crawling and got bored of it.
Little Tikes and Diono Sit ‘N Play Bouncer
The Sit ‘N Play Bouncer is fantastic, both for playtime and sleep time. My favorite part: the zipper. It can zip up to be more like a play seat, or unzip to be more reclined for sleeping. The bar can slide on and off for playtime or sleep time and the little toys are cute, soft and colorful. Micah’s bouncer had a light-up noise-making hard plastic toy bar which was great for playtime, but noisy and in the way for sleep time.
The Little Tikes and Diono Sit ‘N Play Bouncer also has a vibrate and music box that install easily underneath it. The vibrate feature is totally necessary, it was a true blessing when Micah was an infant, the vibrate really helped him sleep longer. The music is cute and entertaining for playtime.
The Sit ‘N Play Bouncer requires a little set up initially, then it’s easy to buckle baby into, slide on the play bar (make sure you don’t catch the fabric in it or it’s hard to slide) and play! Or sleep. Make sure you buckle baby in; it’s easy and baby can quickly learn to slide out and scare you to death!
Micah still loves bouncers (and the vibrate feature) and he was thrilled to climb in and test out the Little Tikes and Diono Sit ‘N Play Bouncer, even though he was over the weight limit. It held him just fine and he loved the little toys. He cried when I put it away and made him go take a nap. I’m excited to use it for the next baby and will definitely be posting more pictures!
Check out the Sit ‘N Play bouncer online, or check out Diono on Facebook or Twitter, or Little Tikes as well!

It’s been a few years since my last baby – I’m hoping this one sleeps more easily than the last 🙂
I am entering for a friend and it has been awhile since we used one but I know they are needed to entertain baby and it let’s you get a few things done while baby plays
I always had my babies on a sleep schedule to make life easier.
My 2 babies always had a schedule and ended up sleeping through the night at 8 weeks,
My kids always slept better for thier first couple of months in a seat of some type – a swing, carseat, bouncer, etc. They would take a while to get to where they were ok lying on thier backs.
I would love to use a bouncer like this with the new baby!
I’m entering for a couple family members who are pregnant. My daughter was a great sleeper.
My little girl did not like to sleep at night but she slept all through the day. It took us a few months to get her into a better sleep routine, this would have been great to have. Great for baby number 2!
I was really spoiled by my first 2 who slept through the night on their own in less than a month! My youngest has been a lot harder to get sleeping alone and through the night. If he is in my bed he will sleep through the night but we are trying to get him into his own bed now.
Babies tend to doze off just when Mom can’t … Mommies law #WhoCanKeepTrack? 😉
We are trying to conceive, so I don’t know much about baby sleep habits, but I’m sure I will learn!
My daughter, my third and last baby, is my best sleeper! She is so easy to get to sleep and doesn’t wake often. My boys have always been (and still are) a pain to get to sleep!
My boys were fussy sleepers. It took a while to get them on a schedule. This would be for my sister-in-law who is pregnant and gets all of the great new gadgets to make her life easier.
My little one has a bad habit of falling asleep in my arms – I’m trying to work on putting him in the crib before he’s completely asleep. My little one also loves to sleep in the car
Boobs…all she needs involve
A walk in the stroller when all else fails!
For my kiddo, he has always loved falling asleep while nursing. For my husband, though, our bouncy seat always worked wonders!
My littles only go to sleep while being held <3
Our last one is the best sleeper yet.
Your baby sleeps? What’s that like? We’re at the 4 month regression with unmanaged reflux, up every hour thank god he’ll nurse to sleep in the night!!
My two kids were depending on a bouncer for naps when they were babies. Hopefully my last and third baby who is due in December would love this bouncer as well! 🙂
Swaddling and white noise 🙂
Best thing to helping them sleep is darkening shades on the window and a sound machine.
My little one always sleeps in her crib – white noise and a dark room make the difference!
My son is nursed to sleep and feeds on demand while co sleeping.
I have one daughter and she hates to sleep!
Cradle hold and swing side to side. Works every time for my ds.
my daughter is on sleeping schedule and sleeps in her crib since she was a baby.
My grandson is on a sleeping schedule and goes right down like clockwork!
My kids have always been the worst sleepers, but bouncers and swings have helped
Our first daughter was a pretty decent sleeper, once we figured out a good bedtime routine! Naptimes, however, were a different story. Hoping baby #2 due soon will sleep well- this bouncer would come in handy. 🙂
my baby rubs his hair and falls asleep 🙂
White noise from a fan always helped my babies fall asleep.
Nursing always helped with mine.
I rubbed my babys hair and sang to him to sleep in his bassinet
My granddaughter lives with us and she is 7 months old. She sleeps all through the night and has for a long time. I sing to her every night till she falls asleep and she gets up about 10 am. She loves her sleep.
my son wakes up about every two hours, he has acid reflex so its hard for him to get comfortable
My 6mo old granddaughter is a night screamer. She falls asleep beautifully, but does NOT stay that way. Her poor mommy and daddy!
my babies never slept through the night! i guess i had restless sleepers!
slept through the night since 3 months old
My son didn’t sleep through the night until he was 8 months old. He slept in our bedroom. The day he got his own room was when he started sleeping through the night.
My granddaughter sleeps real good.
She sleeps through the night and has since she was 3 days old…we are lucky!
I remember being a new mommy, I woke my daughter to feed her. Didn’t take long to let “sleeping dogs lie.”
My babies have all slept through the night after eight weeks of age but I have always had trouble getting them to take a nap of a day even at an early age.

Our isnt due until August!!
I hope to have a good sleeper.
My Babies have always got the best sleep in the car.
With my first son we had to drive him around at night to get him to sleep.
I like the idea that babies just fall asleep when needed no matter where.
My youngest son has always been a good sleeper!
my son is 1 and is still on my night schedule, but he sleeps good just not though the night yet
I have no idea yet because she comes in November…but I know I can feel her like crazy at night!
My baby slept all the time, even through diaper changes.
All my babies slept at least 8 hours every night starting at about 2 months
I’ve always been lucky and both of my babies have always fallen into a sleep routine early on and stayed that way !!!
My youngest is a good night sleeper worked hard on a routine
my youngest is a heavy sleeper but the older one was very light and she was a pain!
My kids sleep fairly lightly. Thank you
My daughter slept all threw the night, we are working on baby #2 and not to sure how that one will do.
right now we are having good nights, our baby is sleeping through the night for the first time in months.
I wish my baby who is already getting big would sleep through the nights!
My newest grandson is an excellent sleeper -at least 6 hours a night. 🙂
