Spring in MN unfortunately does not mean shorts and t-shirts. I *so* wish it did, but the facts are just that.. Facts. Easter in MN is often a gamble as to whether or not it can be held outdoors, or if we must remain indoors to save our pretty clothes. Either way, we usually try to get the kids dressed up in something nice, and come prepared with rain boots. We especially look for something nice and spring-like, to signify the break of dark-colored grey, gloomy winter and the start of bright-color, open windows, and blue skies! This year Carter’s has an impressive selection of spring clothes that really make me want to own it all – making my kids the most fashionable boys in town.
Last spring, we enjoyed melting snow, yellow/brown grass, and sweatshirts/gloves. I imagine it will be much the same this year!
So as much as I would love to share with you all that our spring wardrobe contains shorts and flip-flops since Carter’s has SO many great choices this spring: it simply doesn’t. I’ve put together some outfits from Carter’s that would qualify as part of a MN spring. 
I love this Carter’s outfit for an ideal MN Spring style: still light and spring-like with the *Pop* of an orange color, but warm enough to hunt for Easter Eggs. The practicality of the outfit goes on through the summer, with casual boat shoes and nice colorful button down shirt.
Love this spring outfit from Carters – Such a great combination of that salmon color contrasted to the blue to really make it scream ‘Spring is HERE!’ I would totally take my boys to the beach (if we had one!) in this outfit. I guess playing at the closest indoor playground would suffice.
I adore this pirate swimwear. My kids are slightly obsessed right now, and I think they would love this.I especially love that it has a matching pirate towel to boot! And obviously this would work all year round, not just spring!
