May is National Small Business Month and the UPS Store *loves* small businesses and are really going all out to share the love with all small business owners! I love small businesses as well – maybe because I have a few – or maybe because my part-time work outside of the home is also a small business?
In celebration of the National Small Business Month, the UPS Store is launching the #SmallBizSalute campaign, saluting small businesses across the country to recognize and celebrate them for all the hard work they do. They’re encouraging people nationwide to show their support of small businesses on social media by posting about their favorite small business using the hashtag #SmallBizSalute.
The UPS Store is also hosting some great events across several of the nation’s top small business cities – Minneapolis, Nashville, Phoenix and Houston to link small business owners together. They’re also offering the chance for small business owners to compete in a pitch competition to win $5,000 to grow their businesses! Check out details of the events and RSVP for your local event here.
The Minneapolis event is the one I will be attending on Wednesday May 4th from 6-8pm! Apps and Drinks are provided and Marcus Lemonis, host of CNBC’s The Profit will be the keynote speaker at the event, giving attendees insight into their story and how they started their business!
The UPS Store has more than 4,500 locations nationwide and are locally owned and operated by small business owners themselves. Small Businesses rely on the UPS Store for more than just shipping and receiving items – they also count on the UPS Store for business solutions like printed and advertising materials. The UPS Store has a fantastic printing suite online that you can create and print items needed for your small business.
This past month while doing hours and hours of sorting through papers, receipts, calendars and financial statements for taxes, I realized I really needed a place to keep my blog campaigns and payments together in one spot. I needed something like a calendar, but also a way to keep track of requirements of each post, income earned and whether or not it was paid yet. I looked all over for a printable that met my needs, but instead, decided to create my own. I’m excited to have it printed nicely and spiral bound to keep my very own portfolio for next year at tax time. If you’re a blogger and you see value in this printable, feel free to download the Blog Campaigns Tracker PDF here, which you can upload onto The UPS Store and order for around $10!
During the month of May, the UPS Store is offering 25% off your printed orders using discount code: SALUTE25
Win It!!!
One lucky reader will WIN a $25 Visa Gift Card to use to print your own small business materials!
