I love reading with my kids. It encourages learning and can be so fun! Plus it’s sedentary and quite, which is definitely a welcome break from chasing around the house all day. And snuggling can never be beat, especially on cold winter or wet spring days when playing outside isn’t a great option. Put Me in the Story knows how great reading can be and makes it even more fun by personalizing books with pictures and your child’s name!
Don’t Push the Button!
We recently gave Micah Don’t Push the Button! and we all love it! It’s simply fun, with cute monster characters and bright colors. Like I said in my recent post about Put Me in the Story, the only rule in this fun book is you can’t push the button! But, quick, no one is looking, push it and see what happens! Then you get to shake and tickle to fix the consequences of pushing the button. It makes for a fun time giggling, reading and shaking together! Micah loves that the book says his name and has his picture too! We must have read it 10 times within 2 hours of the mailman delivering it! And many more times every day since then. When he’s older and knows how to read his own name, I think he’ll be even more impressed that I’m not just pretending it says his name!
The book is hard cover with paper pages, which means it’s already a bit crinkled but not ripped! The colors are bright, the text is easy to read, and the pictures are so fun. It’s a great Easter or anytime gift for a little one in your life!
Check out Put Me in the Story online as well as on Facebook and Twitter for yourself! What a fun Easter or every day present for the little ones in your life!
I received a Don’t Push the Button to review for this post, opinions are 100% my own as always.
