It’s so tough these days to decide on technology. Not that you want technology (because we all love technology!!), but more so of which technology you want. I always find myself in stores for days in a row trying to figure out the best option for me when I’m looking at a big tech purchase. I want to be sure I’m making the right choice! Well, technology has become more complex and even more scarce to try for yourself:
‘78% of Americans are excited about the chance to learn and try out new technologies, half are frustrated by the lack of access to them beyond what they read or see in the media, according to a new study by Intel and Toluna’Well Best Buy and Intel is changing that. Recently, Intel and Best Buy introduced an in-store experience in 50 Best Buy stores across the U.S. featuring some of the latest and best technologies. The Intel Technology Experience lets customers – from tech enthusiasts to technophobes – play, explore, and be inspired by the power of technology.
I had the chance to visit the Best Buy store at the Mall of America to get some Hands-On experiences for myself! My husband instantly went to the Virtual Reality area, where he was able to race around on Mars.
Ethan is my music enthusiast, so he went straight to the station for mixing tracks – we helped him of course! Andrew was very interested in taking apart and putting together the sets of computers and tablets that they had lined up.
One of the coolest areas at the Intel Experience is the 3D printing area, where the Intel technician was helping to set up and create 3D robots. This technology is still a bit slow, but very cool. He said it takes about 3-4 hours to build the robot completely – so we didn’t stick around to watch much.
Each Season Intel is expected to refresh the venue with a new array of technology experiences. It was a very fun experience and I highly recommend you check out this list of stores and visit your nearest Intel Experience location.

That is so nice that you can try new things in their stores. I get so frustrated because I can’t figure out what will work best for me. It is nice I can now try these out before buying
