Thanksgiving is coming so fast – It instantly puts me into ‘rush’ mode where I need to start shopping to beat the crowds! I do take on the challenge each Black Friday to go after a few specific items, but usually if I’m careful I can find even better deals before the holiday-mania sets in. Today was my first big score! Target has started their ’10 Days of Deals’ that is dishing out incredible discounts on top of the already low-prices of the perfect items that everyone is shopping for!
Today was day 1 – 10% off electronics! I scooted myself up to Target this morning bright and early, because I wanted to be sure I’d get what I want!
My youngest is obsessed with music. He has been for about a year and a half now – drumming on everything, listening to streaming music non-stop – and constantly taking over our phones. I decided this year he should get his own iPod Touch. Yes, he’s 5. But he certainly has a grown-up taste for music (mixed in with some kid-style Go Fish and Raffi) and I’d love to keep him jammin’ since it makes him SO happy! I also picked him up an alarm clock that connects to his iPod Touch for great music playing in his room plus a place to charge his own iPod.
For the next few days, iPods are 20% off – which puts them to $159.99. Pair that with the extra 10% and it’s a better deal than Black Friday!
At that price? I chose to get two. One for my oldest, too. He’s more into video games than anything – and steals dad’s iPad all the time! I’m so excited to see their faces on Christmas Morning!!
The deals continue as this week progresses – Right now there is also a 20% off toys coupon – which is incredible!! I was able to get my niece a Disney Princess Ultimate Collection 7 Pack – which she will LOVE. It’s an $80 toy, on sale for $49.99. That paired with the 20% off toys, and the 30% off cartwheel, made this doll around $28 + tax!
I got some nerf guns and bullets for the boys and a Littlest Pet Shop Jet for my niece. Overall my total WOULD have been just under $700 before tax. I ended up spending just over $450. Incredible!
Tomorrow you can get any Kitchen purchase for 20% off – perfect time to get yourself that new triple-slow-cooker or Kitchenaid Mixer to make your Thanksgiving prep a cinch!
Since you’re going to be so busy prepping and cooking for Thanksgiving, Frozen Pizza is the perfect dinner for Wednesday night – So Buy 1, Get 1 Free!
Don’t forget with all the amazing deals you’ve scored over the last week you’ll have to have paper to wrap them, and a tree to put them under!! You’re in luck – because Saturday the 28th you can get $50 off your holiday shop purchase of $100. That’s essentially 50% off!!
Then of course, for Cyber Monday they’re offering 15% off all target.com purchases with promo code CYBER15. Awweeessommmeee!!
I already envision myself at Target for something each day over the next 10 days (Of course not on Monday)!
What’s on your Target Must-Have List???
