As we continue on our cloth diapering journey, I’ve found my new favorite cloth diaper! It’s from Glow Bug and it’s fantastic. Not only is it cute, it is incredibly functional and Glow Bug thought of everything a mom (or dad) could want in the design. Glow Bug sent me a diaper to review for this post and you could win one for yourself! Opinions are 100% my own and my opinion is that the Glow Bug diaper is at the top of my stack every time.
Glow Bug Cloth Diapers
When I say Glow Bug thought of everything, I mean EVERYTHING. The leg gussets have all around protection, there are snaps everywhere necessary to adjust to the diaper to baby’s size, and it’s so soft and gentle on the inside!
PLUS the inside has a section with “walls” to hold in the poop! Though I imagine a baby could still cause a blowout, it would be a lot harder in a Glow Bug cloth diaper!
For a busy mom like me, Glow Bug also put openings on both ends of the pocket so it’s easy to get my fingers in while I’m stuffing the insert to get it straight and flat from both ends.
Add to the the ability to snap the inserts together for easier insertion and removal. And, of course, the patterns are super cute and fun.
The bad? The only big thing I can think of is that the velcro diaper are easier to put on than snap diapers. Buying-wise, you have to buy them in packs of 12 at a time. Some can be bought individually on the Glow Bug Facebook site at a slightly higher price. But, honestly, you need at least 12 diapers to get started on cloth diapering, so why not buy in bulk?
Check out Glow Bug online as well as on Facebook and Twitter.

It’s great that this diaper has the openings at both ends. I would love to win! Thanks for the chance!
I am trying to build a stash of cloth diapers before my baby boy gets here. It’s been 7 years since I have had to diaper a baby…really exciting!
Love the ease of cloth diapers. Small carbon footprint
We cloth diapered with our son and we are planning to do it again this time around.
Always happy to try new cloth diapers
I’m new to cloth and am falling in love quickly!!
I’m having my first baby in December and really excited to cloth diaper.
We plan to cloth diaper because it is so much more environmentally friendly!
The brainiac package is totally my favorite!
I love the prints in Glow Bug’s Botanist package. It seems like the 360 degree gusset system is pretty unique to Glow Bug. We have a couple of their diapers, and they seem really well made! We’ll put them to the test when baby #1 arrives!
My tip is to not make it harder then it needs to be…Wash with enough detergent and throw them in the dryer!
Don’t be scared to try different types of diapers! I was sure I would only love pockets, but I have found that All IN Ones, covers, fitteds, etc all have their place.
Cloth diapers are a lot easier than others might think! You’re doing laundry anyway… 🙂
My oldest daughter is expecting her first in November. She is willing to try anything.
I just had my son in June and am transitioning from disposables to cloth. I like the ease of the disposables and how compact they are but I’m determined to make the switch to 100% cloth.
Excited to start cloth diapering in Sept. when our first child arrives
If you don’t have easy access to a washer and dryer, I suggest something like this. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00AW04ZMM?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s00 I keep it in my bathroom and use a wooden drying rack to dry the diapers. It has saved me lots of money over the coin-op machines in my apartment building’s laundry room. Plus, I have complete control over water temperature and cycle lengths.
Woo hoo diapers… my house would be a lot more disgusting without them. 😉
I’ve been cloth diapering for 16 months and have only tried 1 glowbug diaper it looked different than this one, I think I’d really like to give these a try again!
I had a glowbug when I used cloth for my first child – I loved it!
I have been cloth diapering for 7 months. My tip for new cloth moms and dads is to keep trying new things until you find something that works really well for you. It isn’t always love with the first cloth diaper, but it might be with another!
we’ve been cloth diapering for about 4 months now! i really enjoy it, despite doing a load of laundry every day :p
one bit of advice i’d give to someone starting out is to buy a few different types of diapers, regardless of what your friends/the internet recommends. i thought i would LOVE grovia all in one’s and wanted them to be the majority of my stash (i had just read countless awesome things about them). and while i do like my grovia’s, they are not my favorite and i’m glad i could only afford 4 at the time i bought them because it enabled me to try out different types and brands 🙂
We’ve been cloth diapering my 6 month old (3rd baby but first in cloth) since she was 4 weeks old. I wish I would have started with the first baby. I love my prefolds and covers, but now that she’s really wiggly at diaper changes I’m looking to try pockets and AIOs.
I keep wanting to try all the diapers. I really like the style of these.
I’m helping my sister in law to build her stash and adding a few to mine won’t hurt either 🙂
We’re new to cloth diapering – 2 months in, with our 2 month old and loving it so far!
would love their botanic package for my new arival
I love cloth diapers and trying new ones
I’ve been cloth diapering my 2 month old and loving it! A lot of people thought we were crazy when they heard our plans to use cloth, but now that they’re seeing it in action, they’re intrigued more than anything. I love it when they say, “Wow! those are really cute!”
I am trying to build a cloth diaper stash while TTC. This seems like a really cool brand.
We’ve only recently tried Glowbug diapers but they are one of my favorites! Love the 360 gussets and they are so easy to stuff with the openings on both sides! Some of the best advice I was given when I started cloth diapering was to try several different brands and types of cloth diapers to see what you like using and what fits your baby best rather than investing in a full stash of one thing right from the start.
I have one glow bug cloth diaper in my stash and I love it because of the 360 gusset. it worked awesome during the newborn stage.
We are welcoming our baby girl next month and are looking forward to using cloth diapers.
I recently talked to a mom who’s using Glow Bugs and she had great things to say about them! I am using flats and covers right now, but would love try a Glow Bug diaper after hearing from this mom.
I have one glowbug and it’s held up fairly well.
I am excited to cloth diaper my new baby soon!
I have been clock diapering for almost 2 years, but I have not tried the glow bug diapers. I just found out about this brand and really want one!
This is our second child in 7 years to CD and I have never tried Glow Bugs!
Also, I accidentally hit submit before I typed all of my twitter username. It is @jnfunderburk 🙂
I love the gussets on these diapers! They have such cute prints too!
I love cloth diapering and it isn’t nearly as difficult as it seems before you start.
I can’t wait to start cloth diapering. But I need more diapers!
I’d love to try these diapers!
Cloth diapering has been a great way to save money for my family! Plus they’re just so cute. I love the design of Glow Bug diapers and would love to be able to try one.
Don’t have any cloth yet, trying to build a stash
I like the elastic gusset feature I really wasn’t to see if it works on my boss blowouts. I often jelly roll a prefold inside a shell cover to catch poopsplosions. I also like the pocket opening on both ends. It would be easier to stuff and probably easier to get a clean grab to yank out for wash.
Really wanna win this one.
If you haven’t already bought a whole stash I suggest trying a rental trial program. It allows you to try a variety of diapers to find the best one for your baby.
We’ve only recently switched over to cloth diapers. I love them. I just couldn’t take the idea of spending money on disposables just to throw them away and have them sit around in a landfill for centuries. I love that we can pass our cloth diapers along to someone else to love when we no longer need them. I haven’t had the opportunity to try Glow Bug Cloth diapers yet though. I would love to try them out though.
i love GBs cute prints! I know they fit so well too
I’ve been cloth diapering for two years now and I’m about to continue the trend with baby #2! I’ve successfully converted several friend to cloth diaper addicts as well!
My tip to new cloth diapering moms would be to keep it simple and don’t stress out. Also a diaper sprayer comes in very handy!
I’m so excited my brother and his girlfriend are expecting, and want to cloth diaper!! I am trying to help them out as much as I can buy giving them my stash( my son is potty trained) and trying to win as many new diapers for them!
My first baby is due in September and I’m excited to give cloth diapers a try! I’m trying to start a stash of various brands/styles to find something that works well for us, and this would be a great addition!
I’ve been dying to try a glowbug!! I’ve heard pretty great things. I’ve been diapering my 2 month old for a month now, and I’m loving the switch from sposies to cloth!
My wife and I love cloth because it has saved us so much money compared to disposables. We also like that we don’t have to worry about him getting chemical rashes as long as we wash the diapers well.
I like how cloth diapers are so easy. Everyone says they’re so hard, but I honestly love stuffing my sons diapers and the extra laundry really doesn’t bother me! Plus clean cloth diapers smell so much better than disposables!:)
I love my cloth diapers, but with another one on the way I could definitely use some more!
I have one Glowbug diaper and it’s among my favorites! I like the bamboo insert, double gussets, and I think they have some of the cutest prints in the industry.
I have never tried cloth diapers, but these sound like a fabulous place to start! My daughter has always dealt with irritation from disposables, but we’ve never been able to afford the initial investment of cloth diapers. Thank you for the chance to win!
I love the braniac pack! adorable prints
I’m expecting my first in a few weeks and I’m really looking forward to cloth diapering! This would be a great addition to my starter stash 🙂
I only have one Glow Bug in my stash, but would love more!
Im due in September and totally new to cloth diapering. I would love to include a Glow Bug in my stash!
We about to have 2 in diapers! NEED MORE
I love cloth diapering! We even recently switched to cloth wipes and they’re fantastic! Glow Bug’s are so cute!! Would love to win!
The best thing you can do when deciding to cloth diaper is to dive right in. You will figure out your wash routine, detergent brand and diaper preference as you go. It really is easy!
That extra inside gusset seems awesome! I would love to try these out to start my stash. I love reading everyone’s tips for those new to CD 🙂
Cloth diapers are great.
Love cloth! Always wanted to try glow bug!
I would love to try glow bug diapers! I love having a variety stash instead of all of one kind.

I love the Botanist package! It’s perfect for my little girl. I have favorites from each package though!
I have a baby on the way and those gussets look so perfect to contain newborn mess!
The brainiac package is also my favorite!

i love my cloth and my fluffy butt boy!
looks comfi
I’m just getting into cloth diaper. Would love to try this one!
Thanks for this review! I was interested in these but didn’t know enough about them to dive in. I wish I participated in that co-op now and snagged some! Next time.
My only regret with cloth diapering is that i ever bothered with sposies at all!
We’re so excited to build up a stash of cloth diapers!
We are trying for our third baby now and I am really looking forward to cloth diapering him!
I want to build a daddy friendly stash and pockets seem like the answer for us
Love the Brainiac prints!
We are new to cloth diapering and love exploring new brands and styles! Working on that stash little by little…
Glow bug has some really cute prints, but we’ve never tried them. I would love Botanist ones for my daughter!
Glow Bug diapers are just one more reason reason I’m glad I chose cloth… And I haven’t even tried them yet!
I’ve never tried these but heard great things!
I don’t have any tips yet since our fluff bum hasn’t been born yet, but I’m excited to start!
I haven’t tried these yet, but they look so nice and have such cute prints. I love the musical instrument one.

We’re going to start with our newborn!
Loving the Explorer package
Im so excited to be able to cloth diaper my second baby. I love Glow Bugs botanist prints. Theyre so cute!
I am looking forward to cloth diapering, so much information to absorb!
I am doing a lot of reading on different brands of cloth diapers and love to read the flow bug reviews as I am a mother of 3 with my baby only in diapers I am in the process of deciding to switch to cloth diapers. I am now obsessed. I just need to start building my stash and hopefully I can have a decent stash before my baby turns 1. Thanks for the opportunity to win one of these awesome diapers
I’d love to try these!
LOVE the prints on these diapers!
Would love to try this diaper out on my baby girl!!

I just got my boyfriend to agree to switch our 9 month old to cloth! Can’t wait to start our stash, and these would be a perfect first addition!
I’ve only got a few cloth diapers for my son. I’d love to add to our stash!
I love the Explorer Set!
I started saving my pennies for the Brainiac set. I LOVE them!
If you’re new to cloth diapering, just BREATHE! It’s not as hard as it seems in the beginning. Before you know it, you’ll settle into a wash routine and everything will be fine!
Would love to try these with kiddo #2! I cloth diapered my daughter but these look WAY better than what I used.
We have been cloth diapering for almost 3 years now! (2 babies) We’ve been using a diaper service but I’m trying to slowly build a stash so I can maybe wash my own with the next baby!
I’m due in March and can’t wait to not have to buy a disposable diaper! Save so much money!
Thank you for the giveaway! We’ve been cloth diapering for 8 months now, and I love it. I’ve heard great things about Glow Bugs and would love to try one!
This is my first time trying cloth diapers. I am a mom of 3 and just decided that it would probably be worth trying since disposable diapers are so expensive. And with all 3 having sensitive skin Buying higher end diapers is especially expensive. I am loving all the adorable diapers.
Love trying new cloth. Always looking for something that works better on my son.
I like the idea of the 360 gusset for containing mess. I would love to give Glow Bugs a try.
The explorer package is my favorite. I like that it is gender neutral.

My name is Chae and I am a cloth diaper addict. I love to try all different kids and still haven’t gone all in on one brand. My son is almost a year (Cd from day 2) and my daughter is due in December. Bring on the girly prints!!!!
I’m about to start cloth diapering, and looking forward to trying this!
I would so love to win one of these diapers!! Trying to build my stash before baby comes. This will be my first baby that I intend to cloth diaper full time.
We are cloth diapering with baby number two. My kids are a little over five years apart, and i can’t believe the explosion of cd options – brands, patterns, and styles – since our first. looking forward to adding more options to our stash. Thanks for reviewing this diaper, probably never would have found it otherwise.
Would love to try this diaper. Looks like a great design. Love trying new brands
I’ve been wanting to try Glow Bug forever! I love the Botany package!
What isn’t there to love about fluff? Its just so danged adorable! The biggest thing is knowing how to do the laundry.
I absolutely love that the inside has “walls” to help prevent blowouts! Definitely the first time I’ve seen that (not that I’ve been CDing very long lol)
I absolutely love the Explorer package!!
I want to win!
We’re expecting our first in February so I’m so excited to be building our first stash! I’d love to get different types to try out and see what we like the best!
We so need some more diaps!!! Would love to win!
I like the gussets on the diapers! I really enjoy cloth diapering.
Super cute diaper! The opening on both ends would make the insert come out in the wash to easy.
Between my two youngest, I’ve been cloth diapering for almost 4 years. A piece of advice I would give to people new to cloth diapering is to not be afraid! Eventually you will develope a routine and a system that works for you, expect some trial and error. Do what works best for you and your family, don’t be intimidated by crazy washing routines or buying soap exclusively for diapers.
I like the brainiac package a lot! But if I was going to have girls again I’d probably like the botanist package.
This brand has such cute prints! Fingers crossed because I LOVE cloth diapers!
I seriously LOVE cloth diapering! I am on baby number two and have cloth diapered both of them. You save SO much money, and they’re so much fun to wear different patterns and colors!
I like that this diaper has openings on both ends to help with inserts. Would love to try one!
I’m personally a cover and prefolds gal but my mom who watches the girls while I’m at work will only use the pocket, aio, ai2 diapers. I would love to win this to add to the diapers we have for my mom to use! I think this style might help with the leak issues she has with some of ours.
starting to stock up on cloth before my baby boy is born
My tip is that cloth diapering doesn’t have to be all or nothing. We only cloth diaper part time for now and it’s what works for us while still getting some of the benefits of using cloth!
These diapers seem awesome!!
We love cloth diapering, and these diapers really are the cutest prints around!!!
I’d love to win this for my friend who’s just starting out cloth diapering.
I plan on cloth diapering my first baby. So far I only have a few Fuzzibunzs, so I’m excited at the chance to add something new to my stash! I especially love the prints that glow bug offers!
The brainiac package is my favorite!
I like the brainiac package!
I enjoy cloth diapering.
