God Gave Us the World, by Lisa T Bergren Review {Giveaway Closed}

God Gave Us the World by Lisa Tawn Bergren is a story about an inquisitive young polar bear wondering about other types of bears as they visit a bear museum; and the conversations about God’s creations that continue through the evening.  Mama explains to the cub that there are many different types of bears and they are all created differently by God for a purpose.  It is a cute story that explains that God is creative, magnificent and can do anything, therefore, he chose to make many different species of bears, all with their own unique and special qualities.  
This book helps explain to young children that God has created all things in a diverse manner, but showing that all things that he has created are special – It also teaches that the Earth is a special place that is vast and contains all of Gods creations – and how important it is that we take care of them!
This book is so cute and the illustrations are so fun and colorful. The story lasts through the whole day of this polar bear family, from the time they leave the house until bed time.  It’s a great story for all ages – my two year old son enjoys having it read to him, and enjoys looking at the pictures himself as well! His favorite part is when mama bear is sticking out her tongue catching snowflakes J This book will be in our favorite book collections for quite some time!
