We have always loved Radio Flyer in our family. Our kids have the 4-in-1 trikes and an awesome Radio Flyer roller coaster ramp (Flyer 500) and we are excited to add an EZ-Rider Scooter to the mix! Micah will be 3 in less than a month and I’ve watched him eye scooters in the store and try to get older kids to let him ride with them, so when the opportunity to get one from Radio Flyer arose, I was so excited! He loves attempting to ride it now and I fully expect to get many years of great fun from it!
Radio Flyer EZ-Rider Scooter
Radio Flyer produces high quality products, they always have and I imagine they always will. Everything we have from them easily stands up to the abuse of little kids, rough roads, strong AZ sun, and now cold MN temperatures. This on top of being incredibly easy to use and often useful for many years and ages. The EZ-Rider Scooter fulfills these statements easily, with it thick foam handles, strong steel frame, firm plastic deck, and thick strong wheels. It says it’s rated up to 59 pounds, but I tried it out (a few times!) and it held me with no problem.
Plus the added perk of a fun design on the platform and Radio Flyer’s classic red (great for any gender ad use!).
Scooter for Kids
The EZ-Rider Scooter from Radio Flyer has everything you need in a scooter – the back break reinforced with metal, the solid handlebar are curved and padded for easy use, and a front wheel guard for those muddy puddles that are so fun! The wheels are thick and solid and the front one is extra-big to be easier over bumps. The deck is wide, so my little man can put his feet any way his little heart desires as he learns to ride. Finally, the handlebars are adjustable, so I know it can grow with him.
I love that Micah enjoys playing with his EZ-Rider Scooter! It not only is great outdoor entertainment, it’s teaching him foot-coordination and balance while being close enough to the ground that he can easily catch himself (and not get twisted up in it) when he falls. Right now he really enjoys us helping push him, which we can easily do with the padded handlebars, while he pretends to push along with him foot. He has gotten brave enough to try by himself a few times, and I’m sure springtime will bring me an enthusiastic little boy ready to ride his scooter to the park faster than I can walk!
Check out the EZ-Rider Scooter and Radio Flyer online as well as on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and Instagram! There are so many awesome choices for any age, whether you are looking for Christmas, birthday, baby shower, or just a fun surprise!
I received an EZ-Rider Scooter from Radio Flyer to review for this post. Opinions are 100% my own, as always.
**Micah definitely wears his helmet when out and about, these certain pictures in our backyard it slipped my mind, and now there is snow on the ground so it’s tucked away until spring!
