What Makes a Good Diaper Bag?
So, diaper bags aren’t TOTALLY essential, you could fill a large bag with all baby’s items and dig for the right thing when you need it. Or you could get a diaper bag, with lots of pockets for organization! There are so many to chose from though! What makes a good diaper bag: lots of pockets! Inside and out. With at least one pocket the right size for a water bottle. And at least one pocket zippered for mom’s stuff. A good diaper bag also has a changing pad, a hook to hold keys, and an easily-acceptable pocket for gotta-have-now things (like pacifiers). And a comfortable strap for carrying, whatever way you like to carry! Diaper bags by House of Botori fit all these requirements: they sent me a diaper bag to review and share with all of you. Opinions are 100% my own; my opinion is the the House of Botori diaper bags are fantastic.
House of Botori Diaper Bags
The House of Botori makes multiple different diaper bags but they all have the important requirements in common: lots of pockets, multiple strap (carrying) options, pacifier holders, key hooks, and changing pads.
The House of Botori diaper bags are also in beautiful African-inspired fabrics, and are made of eco-friendly and PVC-free materials. They even thought to include pull-tie bags for dirty clothes! So, there really isn’t anything to not like. The price does a little damage to the wallet, starting at $59, but falls in the average price range for diaper bags. You can find cheaper, but not of this quality.
House of Botori: Amara Shoulder Bag ($79)
When looking online, I preferred the Amara Shoulder Bag by House of Botori and I love it! It has lots of inside pockets as well as outside pockets.
It has TONS of space for all of baby’s things! It’s lightweight (at least before I filled it full of things) and, of course, has all the House of Botori straps so I can carry it, wear it on my shoulder, or use the two little short straps to attach it to a stroller.
Unlike some low-price diaper bags I’ve felt, this House of Botori diaper bag feels high quality. It doesn’t crinkle with every touch or feel like it might fall apart in a month. It seems well-put-together, smooth and ready for lots of use! I’ll let you know how it holds up! I have high expectations.
Check out House of Botori online, on Facebook, Pinterest and Twitter, and watch for an upcoming post about the essentials to bring with to the hospital all packed into my Amara Shoulder Bag!

I agree with many of these suggestions. One thing I would like to say is that my one goal is to just laugh and trust my instincts when it comes to mothering. It can get overwhelming so just know you are not alone.
