This is the maze that withstands time. That is fun for any age. A maze with interchangeable panels, it’s also challenging for any age! This is the Labyrinth I grew up with, loved challenging myself with, that was in the center of many gatherings. This is that Labyrinth, with the added flexibility of 2 additional mazes! This is the BRIO Labyrinth.
If you haven’t played the classic Labyrinth, you’ve missed out. It’s a complex maze filled with holes for your marble to fall through. Use the knobs on the front and right sides to tilt the panel side-to-side and front-to-back to move the marble through the maze. If you fall through the holes (and there are a lot of them) the ball comes out a hole in the bottom right and you have to start over. It’s basic, with zero technology, and yet so addictive. Challenging, a great exercise in fine motor movements, and entertaining.
This version of the Labyrinth also comes with two other maze plates. These are great for younger kids, for starters, or for an easy win on a crummy day. The panels set on top of the original labyrinth, and the holes line up directly with the matching holes below. The simplest is a rather basic maze with only 8 holes.
The medium-difficulty maze is a good amount more difficult. With 21 possible points to fall through holes and more turns, this level will present a challenge to most people. Great for advancing difficulty for kids and a mid-point to the classic labyrinth marble maze.
