Potty training is tough. A potty seat is a must have, as well as a lot of patience and a stack of towels. There are lots of potty seats to choose from, and the Bumbo Step ‘n Potty has something the others don’t: a use beyond the potty chair!
The Bumbo Step ‘n Potty can either be a potty chair, or a stool and toilet seat. This extends it’s usefulness and offers you options, because no child potty trains the same way.
The stool platform snaps in underneath the potty as a chair. Or snap it onto the top to be a stool. The part I absolutely LOVE about the stool formation is that the potty bucket can stay inside. It may seem trivial, but if I can’t keep all the pieces together, I’m bound to lose one!
This perfect Bumbo cushion can be used either on the potty seat or on a typical toilet. It is a deep, soft cushion; fantastic for little bums. My petite 2 year old and 4 year old both like sitting on it.
The Bumbo potty bucket is small for easy emptying, while being deep enough to hold more than a few trips. So if you are like me and forget to empty it until after the kids are in bed, no worries!
The stool is rated up to 110lbs but I did stand on it and it didn’t let me down. There is rubber on the top platform and bottom edge for grip. Plus it’s lightweight.
The whole Step ‘n Potty is a great concept and quality product. The only thing I don’t like is that the stool platform is difficult to snap and unsnap. It takes a decent amount of force and is easier to do with the whole thing upside-down. Thankfully the plastic is durable and I’m not worried about breaking it with the amount of force it takes to snap or unsnap.
Overall, the Bumbo Step ‘n Potty is a great help for potty training! Check them out online and on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook, or win one here!

I quickly learned to set a timer so I wouldn’t forget to take the kids to potty before it was too late. Helped me out a lot.

My grandson just doesn’t want to be potty trained. He tells me to change his diaper so he knows when he goes but he cries when I put him on the potty.

My favorite product is the Bumbo seat with tray. I even used it as a high chair for my baby. Potty training was not easy with my boys hoping the girl will be easier
