A while back I did a review of the Gynoii Video Baby Monitor and I absolutely loved it! It’s the monitor we used in Emersyn’s room so I can check on her anytime. It’s SO helpful during naptime and nighttime for me to be able to see her from any place, any time. I check on her at work on my breaks, I check on her when I hear her whining to see if she’ll go back to sleep on her own or need comforting, and I take pictures and videos of Micah “waking up baby” some mornings or afternoons. It’s really fun to watch them interact before baby can see me and want to be picked up immediately!
My favorite part: Peter and I can be outside working on things or playing with Micah (or enjoying some quiet us time!) and not worry about not being able to hear baby. Since the Gynoii monitor app is on my phone over WiFi or 4G, I can get notifications WAY farther away than our audio monitor reaches. It’s fantastic.
Trying to think of a great Mother’s Day gift? Give her peace of mind and freedom from the limited range of audio monitors. Of all the baby monitors I’ve worked with, this is actually my favorite because of the time-lapse video capabilities, easy clip-mount, and truly reliable connectivity.
Gynoii has recently added a new feature: the ability to create a separate password for guests (like other family members) to have access to the video but not the music or speaking capabilities. This way they can see baby without you worrying they might disturb her in any way.

This would be great. I work from home, where I am constantly on the phone. This will allow me to keep him in the other room while I’m working, but still be able to check on him.

My baby boy has scared me a number of time by sleeping flat on his face! He knows how to roll back and forth but chose to be in that position in the first place. Yikes!
