So while filling out a form today for MomCentral to see if I would be eligible to participate in an upcoming campaign, It asked how old I am…
HOW OLD AM I?!? Really?? Ughhhh…
My birthday was just this last Monday.. that’s a sensitive subject for me.
Ok. So… last year a few weeks before my birthday, my family was all together, and they asked me how old I was – I promptly and proudly answered… “28!!” Well. one of my family members did the math, and realized that I was actually.. 27. I would be turning 28 in a few short weeks.
I was DUMBFOUNDED. I TOTALLY missed my 27th year, because I counted wrong – for a WHOLE YEAR!!
So. I called myself 27 years old for a matter of weeks… and then got to live my 28th year all over again. That was awesome
But Now… I’m 29.
This is officially my last year in my 20’s.
Can I just say ‘28, Again’ Please??? Is that fair?
Heather Kelly says
It’s totally fair. Being 28 and then 29, and 30 were the best years of my whole life! Now, I am 36 and a half, ugg…. Enjoy it. I too filled out that thing for MomCentral, and had to put my age. I don’t understand why it mattered, but whatever.

Just wait till you’re thirty!!!! Then you will sit there and think… am I 33 or 34?? “How old am I honey?”
Heather says
If your birthday was last monday, we share the same birthday! OMG! to miss a whole year, I’d be sad too. I turned 30 this year!! I’m glad I didn’t miss my 29th year!

I’m also sneaking up on 30. It’s hard to believe I’m that old. Then I realize I have an almost 8 year old son and I feel even older. XD

Happy Birthday! I turned 33 (ugh!) on Saturday the 22nd. It only goes down hill from here!
