Kidbox: The New Kids’ Style Delivery Service #UnpackHappy

With summer fast-approaching and the weather heating up – I recently realized that my oldest, Andrew, did not have summer clothes to wear in his current size!!! I try to pick up a few items here and there at the end of each season in the next size, but last summer I was so swamped with back-to-school uniform purchases that I didn’t have the budget left for clearanced summer clothing… I started panicking. Long sleeves and fleece-lined swishy pants are totally in-style over the summer, right??

Ethan loved the stickers and crayons and used those right away!

Of course my first thought was, what if I don’t like what they send me???! 
Well, see that little bag with the USPS label? Whatever I don’t like, I simply put into the self-sealing bag, attach the label, and put it in my mailbox or drop off at the local post office. IT’S THAT EASY! I had 7 days to decide what I wanted to keep, or select the ones that I was going to keep.

Each item of clothing had a price associated with it so if I wanted to return most and keep one or two I could see what the price would be for those. They were all discounted from the price on the tag. I also got a few emails from them reminding me that my time was running out to select which I would keep or by ignoring the emails, I am selecting that i get to keep them all. I love that they reminded me so there were no surprises! 

You know what though? I *loved* everything they sent me. I had no idea that Lucky brand made kids’ shorts, but I’m in love with them. The quality is great and they’re adorable! 

I also couldn’t have fallen in-love faster with the swim trunks they sent. I didn’t really think I needed any swim shorts for Andrew because his from last year still fit – But they’re SO not this fashionable. I’m pretty sure they have sharks all over them, so these are way better. 

I also loved the navy shorts they sent – not necessarily because they’re so amazing – but because they work for school! He has a uniform at school and we didn’t have shorts in his size. So over the next 10 days of school and the first part of school next year he will be able to wear these nice shorts. 

If you’re curious, we picked the Preppy/Polished style. I wish I could have picked Casual/Preppy – but we definitely don’t dress athletic (no-sleeves on boys is a big turn-off for me!) and sweat-shorts are not my thing, so I was afraid to choose that. I think we picked right – because I love all that we got!
