Micah loves exploring and learning about the world about him. H’s been obsessed with binoculars (you are big! now you are teeeenyyyy!) so I was excited to get a GeoSafari Jr Telescope for him to use and learn with!

As soon as the junior telescope came in the mail he was jumping with joy, so we immediately set it up and he checked out the trees with it. Set up was super easy, simply attaching the scope to the stand, and we were ready to roll. There isn’t any way to focus, so Micah gets a bit confused that he can’t use it to look at nearby items like he can with binoculars, but it’s fun to look for far-away birds and leaves on trees with the 10x zoom.
Micah hasn’t had a chance to look at the stars with his new telescope yet (since it doesn’t get that dark until well after his bedtime), but this is such a fun way to introduce him to a new way of checking out the world around him.
