What kid doesn’t want awesome bath toys?? I’ve forever (well, the last 3 years) been on the look-out for neat toys for the bathtub.

My husband wasn’t havin’ it though – so I delivered the mermaid to my niece Isabella to try it out in the tub.

My 6 year old niece loves when bath time comes around. She simply brings the mermaid in the water and she just starts swimming. No on or off switch to deal with.
My 10 year old niece has also been known to being it into the tub with her and enjoy it. It is also a great pool toy!
The motor in her tail makes a little bit of noise if you are hanging on to her. When you let go and let her swim (either on her front and back) then you don’t hear her so much.
She’s so much fun and I love the positive messages Moxie Girls carry.

Commented on Fit Fridays (mid January Playing outside) Does your son refuse to stay if his brother is with him? If he doesn’t go with him maybe you could try letting him go a few times until he feels comfortable. Another idea would be going early enough to stay in there with him awhile so he feels secure then explain you’ll be back go. My oldest threw fits people said they had never seen before (but that was a complete different issue as he has a emotional disorder) but sometimes the two things I mentioned worked. We had Sept weather here in Jan. too and yes, everyone was outside. It sounded like a typical spring day from my window.
