This review is from a friend of mine who has a little girl to help me review the Novi Stars and maybe a few other girly toys that come along!
(That’s the downside to having BoyS!!)
My daughter turned 4 this past July and she loves making her own fashion statements! Not just on herself but on her baby dolls, Barbie’s, and even her own brother!

When I first saw the Novi Stars dolls I thought they were strange looking – but as I started to read the back of the box of the doll we received: ‘Ari Roma’ is her name, I started to get that little girl love for playing make-believe all over again and couldn’t wait to open her and watch my daughter make up stories!
I love how unique she is! I think Barbie’s are fun but they can be plain and boring as well! With the new Novi Stars they all have there own fashion and missions here that older girls will love! Ari Roma’s mission is to kiss an earth boy, which is just a little too ‘old’ for my daughter to learn about – so we just don’t tell her.
She comes with a pet called “02″ and a cool glow in the dark stand. I leave the stand on my daughters bookshelf and she knows to put her back there after she is done playing, which displays her really nicely. The package also includes a headband as the handle – which is really fun for my daughter to play dress-up with.
My daughter loves her curly hair, the glittery body – and that she is scented!
I really didn’t think my daughter at 4 would have much interest in her but she loves playing with her and even asked for another one when we saw them in the store!
The other characters are:
Alie Letric has a translucent green body and lights up in multiple cosmic colors; light up body is activated by push button on her backpack; Glitter metallic eyes with heart icon, heart shaped antennas and glitter eyelashes. Includes pet, glow-in-the dark doll stand and package handle becomes wearable antenna headband for child.
Una Verse has a body filled with floating glitter in water; she has white hair with blue streaks; Glitter eyes with planet icon, spiral antennas and glitter eyelashes. Includes pet, glow-in-the dark doll stand and package handle becomes antenna headband for child.
Mae Tallick really talks! She has a robotic voice and says cosmic phrases; Voice is activated by push button on her ear; Mae Tallick is made of metalized body material; Multi- color eyes with icon, blow shaped antennas and metallic eyelashes. Includes pet, glow-in-the dark doll stand and package handle becomes wearable antenna for child.
I cant wait for Christmas this year we will for sure be adding some more Novi Star dolls to our collection! Their estimated retail value is $19.99.
