With my boys being a bit older, I feel like I’m pretty qualified to help when my friends ask me advice on baby stuff. Maybe not as much for the newest stuff, but definitely the regular items – like car seats! Especially since we’ve reviewed so many styles of car seats.
I have to admit though, when I first saw the Graco 4Ever 4-in-1 car seat while we were looking for a forward facing seat for my youngest, I was super impressed. It was exactly like our favorite booster seat that our oldest was in, with two great cup holders and a 5 point harness. Plus it had the ability to be transformed into a booster later – but it also worked for those younger years and rear facing! We didn’t question our purchase one bit.
Then when I was able to choose an item to review on my blog with our partnership with Graco, I decided that the most beneficial thing would be another Graco 4Ever 4-in-1 car seat! Our oldest was in a high-back booster from Graco in the van, but he was using an outdated booster in my husbands car. We transferred the new seat into the van, and the other seat into the car.
Then we had the great opportunity to take our boys on an impromptu road trip up to the north shores of Minnesota, where the leaves were changing beautifully, and let the kiddos test out the car seats for road-tripping!
Andrew was really impressed how much MORE comfortable this new seat is vs. his other booster – but his absolute favorite part was having two cup holders! One he could put snacks in, and the other one he was able to put his beverage.
There were several stops and getting in and out of the van needs to be as easy as possible – all while staying safe! I just loved our little mini-vacation and wish that we could have spent a whole week, but at last we had to come home and get back to work and school.
The Graco 4Ever 4-in-1 is the absolute last car seats we will need to purchase (until of course we have grandkids!). I feel perfectly safe having them getting in and out all on their own, too. I’ve taught them how to place their buckles and have stressed the importance of my 5 year old staying in his 5-point harness as long as possible. He is technically old enough AND weighs enough, but he can do it on his own, so I just keep him in it. Why not, right?
So when my friends ask my advice on what car seat they should buy – I’m always going to recommend the Graco 4Ever 4-in-1 Car Seat. It’s really the best thing you can purchase money wise – considering that it’s the ONLY seat you’ll ever need to buy for your vehicle. It’s not insanely heavy and is VERY easy to install and convert to the next stage.

Aw! Your family is so cute! That looks like a great car seat! I like the cup holders. Way better than the up holders (or lack there of) that my kids had on their car seats when they used them.

This looks like a great seat. We have a Graco My Ride 65 that our youngest will use once he outgrows his infant seat. This one looks like a good one too!
