The Nuby Insulated Stainless Steel No-Spill Flip-it with 360 Weighted Straw is essentially a child-size version of a stainless steel thermos with the addition of handles, a flip-open dome top, and a super flexible straw that actually has a weight at the bottom to help it follow the liquid regardless of the angle of the sippy!
My little ones have a large selection of sippy cups, which means they aren’t always sure which ones they have to tip and which ones to hold straight. And even holding straight open become a slight angle due to small arms and odd positions. So the ability of the weight straw to move itself around following gravity, ultimately following the liquid, around the cup means less time with the 1 year old thinking her sippy is empty simply because she’s holding it wrong. Means less time of me dealing with her fussing and more time getting supper ready. Or the laundry folded. Or playing!
The only thing I don’t like about the weighted No-Spill Flip-it with the weighted straw is that it’s hard to suck through. Whoever sucks on it, we do get liquid out but it’s a slow flow. This means it’s a great fit for little ones that are used to fairly slow-flow sippies, but my 3 year old who wants his liquids now and gulps like a crazy man will toss this cup aside in an instant.
