While spring has been coming and going in Minnesota, we’ve had a pretty great taste of the warm weather. Enough that we have opened doors and windows to let some fresh air in… and then close them and crank up the heater for night time! But every spring as soon as the neighborhood kids start gathering and playing together and I am no longer policing children in my home, suddenly I see and feel uncomfortable with the mess that has been piling up all winter. It’s time for a deep cleaning!
With the help of Viva®, Scott® and Cottonelle® brands from Kimberly Clark I was able to get started on my Spring Clean of 2016! I made a checklist of things that I need to get done (Click for your copy of the Spring Cleaning Checklist). I took a quick trip up to Walmart and grabbed some essentials for cleaning, since they are most certainly a one-stop-shop for everything I need! 
I decided to start on the living room. Our computer desk has been the ‘hiding spot’ for all of our papers and stacks/piles and miscellaneous JUNK. And since I need to find so many of those papers so I can prep for taxes, I decided to just DUMP the drawers in the middle of the floor. I also pull the chairs and couch and oh-my-WORD the stuff behind my couch was never-ending. It all went to the middle of my floor. It worked perfectly because I was able to sit on my living room floor while listening to the TV and sorted through everything. I threw out two full bags of garbage! *Whew that feels good!
Thankfully the scrubby texture of the Viva Vantage towels allowed me to use the paper towels for cleaning my baseboards and windows while my couch was pulled out, and the soft smooth texture of the Viva Towels helped me with getting the thick dust off of my furniture. Those towels are so strong and durable just like a cloth rag, I was able to dust speaker fronts without fuzzy paper-pieces being left behind. I really put them to the test, and they get an A+ in my book!
Next stop is the Bathrooms. I’m going to tackle those today! I’m glad I have all my supplies gathered together and ready to go. I’ll also be restocking my cupboards with the toilet paper and maybe even a spare roll of Viva, so the boys can clean up their own messes… (Ha. Ha. Ha.)
